So one of my birthday wishlist items was lunch from El's Bowls and Blends. This weekend was Plantain boat with Oxtail, avocado and green salad. First off, you ever had an El's Bowls and Blends green salad? Look it's the first green salad that I can eat and eat and eat and eat. Her corn on the cob makes you chew up the whole damn cob. Ok, so yeah I ate off the corn and the green salad before diving into the Plantain boat. Now I do not eat fried Plantain, judge me all you like but I DON'T LIKE IT! So, I really didn't need to hear the details on how she was going to make this master piece, all I know I saw it and needed to try it. Thank you to who made this wish list item a reality. YO!!! (is it age appropriate for a 49 year old to say YO!!?) This master piece was ORGASMIC!!! DELICIOUS, BLOW YOUR MIND, HAPPY DANCE, SMILE AND CHEW LOOK THIS WAS ALL KINDA AMAZING. My mouth asked my brain what the hell was going on, my stomach told my mouth hurry up and send the meal down. All the while my feet are dancing and I am smiling.
